The town of Javea is a busy town with plenty of shops, banks, bars and restaurants. The town has 3 distinct areas – the port, a favorite for leisure activities and the ancient quarter of narrow streets and whitewashed fisherman's houses.
The Arenal is a very popular beach area and the most accessible area of the coast.
The fishing coves are one of the charms which Javea coastline keeps between dramatic cliffs and lush gullies. Javea maintains one of the most important marine reserves, not only for the species which inhabit it but also for its excellent level of conservation.
The old town has a real ancient flavour about it, being rustic and monumental at the same time. It is a lively area with many shops on its winding streets.
For sport and leisure Javea has much to offer with an average yearly temperature of sixteen and a half degrees the weather allows sport to be played all year round. The area has 3 golf courses, surrounded by pine woods and orange groves, and offer magnificent facilities.
